Why Tech Never Stops Moving

The other day I was talking to a friend of mine about my current role in tech and she brought up a good point. She pointed out how I will have to constantly be learning to keep up in this field during this era of AI.

Before you say that this is the same for every job, I would point out it's very different in tech. Right now in tech we are experiencing something unforgettable, another big boom. Every single day there is progress in models, hardware, workflows, startups, etc. and when I say every day I mean every day. This is not the same across all industries, sure they're also affected by AI moderately and their workflows change a little, but not in the same sense as tech.

Going back to my friend's point about always learning, I think that makes this field one of the most interesting places to be. I love waking up to news about new models dropping, tools launching, or some workflow getting completely reimagined overnight. It's rare to be in a field that moves fast enough to make you feel like a beginner again every few weeks, and honestly, I think that's what keeps it interesting.
